MEGEVE

Welcome to Megeve, an idyllic French village in the heart of the alps. With michelin starred restaurants, beautiful views, and great skiing, you will not be dissapointed.

HOW TO GET THERE

Just an hour’s drive from Geneva, Megeve is easily accessible. If you don’t want to rent a car, the ChamVan provides a quick and easy service right into the centre.

WHERE TO SKI

Megeve provides great skiing for both beginners and more seasoned skiers. For those that feel less steady on their skis, the Rochbrune is a great place to start, with wide pistes and easy access to lots of restaurants. The more experienced skier might head up to Mont Joly to experience scenic runs looking over the valley. With Mont Blanc so close, skiing the Vallee Blanche provides more of a challenge, with the help of a guide you can enjoy 20km of uninterrupted piste and some incredible scenery.

WHERE TO STAY

In the heart of Megeve lies the Fer a Cheval, a luxury ski lodge, with a spa and two restaurants serving both traditional savoyard dishes and gourmet cuisine. Alternatively, ALS offers a range of chalets both inside and on the outskirts of Megeve.

WHERE TO EAT

The Face au Mont Blanc has a diverse menu, outdoor seating, beautiful views, and,  situated next to the Jaillet lift, is accessible for skiers and walkers. For dinner at the foot of the mountain, Le Delicium is the place to go for a delicious pasta, with friendly hosting and a heated outside area for cocktails.

For more traditional Savoyard food, head up to the Refuge du Tornieux, where you can enjoy fondue and raclette, and after a few genipe head down the mountains snowy track on a sledge!

WHERE TO PARTY

The famous Folie Douce is the perfect place for apres ski. Once you’ve headed down the mountain, go into town for drinks at Comme Chez Soi, before walking over to the Palo Alto if you’re in the mood to dance!

WHAT TO DO

Cuddle up under a blanket and take a horse drawn carriage ride through Megeve, or try a bit of ice skating next to the Palo Alto. On a rainy day, have a look in the Palais des Sports which has a pool, ice-skating rink, rock-climbing wall, a spa and many other things…
