31st January- 3rd February 2019 in Klosters, Switzerland.
The Supporting Wounded Veterans Skiing Challenge combines supporting the rehabilitation of medically discharged veterans back into Employment with a fun, adrenaline fuelled weekend in Klosters.
It is such an incredible charity & also an epic weekend!! What more could you want.
It is an all encompassing fun & rewarding few days with a great group of like minded people with an opportunity to network, alongside a team of the inspirational veterans.
We can not wait to be part of it again this Winter & we would love you to join us as an individual or as a team!
DETAILS
It is a fun ski racing event, composed of a ski marathon & a Giant Slalom event across the 2 days. The challenge ensures able bodied and disabled skiers compete to equal terms. You do not have to be of Olympic standard to take part.
If you would like the charity to bring one of their inspirational veterans to talk to you about the challenge, then please get in contact and we can arrange this.
There is a Marathon and Slalom race with both Corporate and Veteran teams competing.
It is a time for potential employers to find out more about veterans needs.
It is an excellent opportunity for networking, team work and personal development.
To take part you only need to be an intermediate skier (and above!)
Teams are made up of 4 but you may enter as an individual and we will complete the team.
The cost is £1,800 per person. This includes entry into the Business Challenge, 3 nights half board accommodation at the 4 star Silvretta Parkhotel, transfers to/from Zurich airport, ski passes & winter sports holiday insurance (UK residents only). This does not include flights or equipment hire.
Any fundraising on top is hugely appreciated!!
