After a change in ownership and a sensational refurbishment, Le Grand Bellevue re-opened its doors in December 2013 to international fanfare. The inspired design includes bespoke furniture from Scandinavia, London, Antwerp and beyond, and extends to our 57 rooms, Michelin-starred restaurant, atmospheric bars and nightclub.

As well as all the thrills of the Swiss Alps on your doorstep, there’s our classic afternoon tea and cocktails in the piano bar to take advantage of. You’ll be sure to leave feeling refreshed and invigorated thanks to our huge, world-class spa, which offers a broad assortment of salt-enhanced steam rooms and herb-infused saunas, as well as an indoor pool and specialist therapies.

Our central Gstaad Promenade location adds to the perks, as Le Grand Bellevue benefits from all the amenities of the town itself. Expect to experience the sophistication and luxury of a grand hotel, with a warm, informal neighbourhood atmosphere.

With 57 elegant rooms, of which nine are sophisticated suites, Le Grand Bellevue offers unrivalled accommodation. Heralding a new era of Gstaad chic, these rooms promise panoramic views across the mountains or private parklands, plus light-flooded bathrooms stocked with Bamford bath products. Most rooms have balconies too.

The spa at 3’000 m2, it is one of the most extensive spas in the region and is a sanctuary or world-class wellness while conveying unique, laid back extravagance for the luxury traveller. With an entirely new design aesthetic, fusing the alpine spirit of the enchanting Saanenland region with Le Grand Bellevue’s existing chic and eclectic style, the new Le Grand Spa embodies our approach to health and wellbeing.

There's an acclaimed restaurant, a sushi bar, and a plush lounge serving afternoon tea. A casual eatery is in a log cabin in the gardens. Other amenities include 2 trendy bars and a wine cellar, plus a spa, an indoor pool, a gym and fitness classes. Minimum-stay rules may apply.

LEONARD’s may have a Michelin star and offer world-class dining, but Le Grand Bellevue’s fashionable flagship restaurant still maintains a wonderfully laid-back atmosphere. For something more intimate and unmistakeably Swiss, Le Petit Chalet is a charming tree-flanked wooden cottage on the Promenade. There’s nowhere more charming for classic local specialities such as raclette or fondue.
